Q ~Do i need a consultation before making an appointment online?
A ~If you are a new colour client, then yes! we would like to see you in person to discuss options and skin test before any services are carried out to make sure you have no allergies.
If you are a new client booking for a cut, you don’t need a consultation however you are invited to make one if you would like to come in and have a chat with us first before committing to a booking.
If you are a regular returning client and your last visit has been within a year then you can use our online system to book your usual appointment. Fancy a change though? feel free to use our consultation service to have a chat about any changes.
Q ~ Do i really need a skin test?
A ~ Absolutely! all new colour clients must have a skin test before any colour service, even if you have had no problems with colour in the past, we require this to be done at least 48hrs before a colour service.
If you have been with us before but it has been over a year since your last visit then we recommend to come in for a repeated test. Reactions can spontaneously develop at anytime due to many factors such as age and medications so it is important to let us know of any developments/changes between visits.
Q ~I am booking my colour service online, do i have to add a cut or blow dry?
A ~All colour services need a finishing service, such as, a cut and blow dry or a colour blowdry. Without adding a finishing service your appointment may be rejected due to insufficient timings.
Q ~Am i booking for the right service?
A ~We totally understand that not everyone is familiar with service names and what they mean or if they are booking for the correct length of hair, if you are unsure what to book you can contact us Via phone, e-mail or socials and we would be more than happy to help with your query.
Q ~Do you do cut children’s hair?
A ~Yes! we offer cutting services for all ages. Prices for children’s haircuts can be found under ‘Our Prices’.
Q ~Do you have age restrictions for colouring services?
A ~Yes we do. We do NOT offer any colouring services to anyone under the age of 16. If you look under the age of 16, you will be asked for I.D and any services will be cancelled.
Q ~Can i come in and have my fringe cut between appointments?
A ~Yes, we do offer a fringe maintenance service. If you are an existing client then just pop into the salon and if a stylist is available we can do it for you. If you want to book an appointment for a fringe trim then this is charged at £5.
Q ~What happens if I need to cancel?
A~ Life happens, we understand that this sometimes means you need to cancel or re-arrange your appointment. If this is the case, we appreciate as much notice as possible so that we can fill in any spaces with new appointments. However, if you need to make changes with less than 24hrs notice then we will ask for a 50% non-refundable booking fee to make your next appointment, this will then come off the total cost on the day. If you cancel or change your new appointment with less than 24hrs notice then your fee will be lost and a new booking fee will be required.
